In 2005, when Sheffield City Hall and its surroundings underwent a £13 million refurbishment, Hodkin and Jones were the chosen contractors to sympathetically restore its ornate ceiling mouldings.
Originally built in 1932, the grade II listed building at Barker’s Pool is now operated by Sheffield International Venues as a venue for various concerts and events.
Hodkin and Jones were the chosen supplier for the plaster mould ceiling work for our ability to undertake surveys, restoration and repairs to theatres and public buildings without losing any of their original charm or character.
